Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MyStreamSpace ("MyStreamSpace", "we", "us", or "our") — our website, mobile applications, and related services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Data Policy, and our Content Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform, and old enough to form a binding contract in your country. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Platform only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the Platform you confirm you meet these requirements.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You may sign in with a password, Google, or KingsChat; we may require you to verify your email address.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Your Content & Licence
You retain ownership of the content you create and publish. By publishing content on the Platform, you grant MyStreamSpace a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for formatting and delivery), publish, distribute, and display that content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Platform. This licence ends when you remove the content or delete your account, except where the content has been shared with others who have not removed it, or where we must retain it for legal or operational reasons.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this licence and that your content complies with our Content Policy.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate our Content Policy or any applicable law.
- Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorised to access.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Platform or its infrastructure.
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Platform except as we expressly permit.
- Artificially inflate views, likes, follows, or earnings, or otherwise manipulate the Platform.
5. Stars, Purchases & Watch & Earn
- Stars are a virtual, in-platform unit with no cash value outside the Platform except where we expressly enable withdrawals. They are not legal tender and are non-transferable except through features we provide (such as gifting).
- Purchases of stars are processed by third-party payment providers (Stripe, Paystack, Espees/CimPay). Prices and the stars-per-currency rate are shown at the time of purchase and may change.
- Watch & Earn lets eligible activity earn stars, subject to the rules, caps, and eligibility we set. We may adjust, withhold, or reverse stars for content that violates our policies or that we reasonably believe involves fraud or artificial engagement.
- Boosts promote content and fund the Watch & Earn pool; boost outcomes are not guaranteed.
- Except where required by law, purchases are final and non-refundable.
6. Live Streaming & Events
If you broadcast or host events, you are responsible for your live content and for complying with these Terms and our Content Policy in real time. We may end a stream or remove an event that breaches our rules.
7. Intellectual Property of MyStreamSpace
The Platform itself — including its software, design, logos, and trademarks — is owned by MyStreamSpace or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without our prior written permission.
8. Third-Party Services
The Platform integrates third-party services (payment providers, media and CDN hosting, live video, messaging, and sign-in providers). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
9. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, or remove content, if you breach these Terms or our policies, or to protect the Platform and its users. You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content licences already granted to others, payment obligations, and the disclaimers and limitations below — will survive.
10. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that content available through it is accurate or reliable.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyStreamSpace will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or stars, arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold MyStreamSpace harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Platform, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Changes to the Platform & These Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Platform, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Platform. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to MyStreamSpace's place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally before pursuing formal proceedings.
